Last weekend, Technopolis celebrated its 25th anniversary with a lively Science Battle, where ten early-career scientists were challenged to explain a complex scientific term in less than two minutes. Simon Tack, doctoral researcher at the VIB-UGent Center for Plant Systems Biology, took home the public vote with his creative take on CRISPR.
